To Whom It May Concern, As the sponsors of the 2004 Tea & Coffee World Cup Exhibition, to be held Oct 10-12, 2004 in Singapore, we would very much like the participation of the Myanmar tea and coffee industries during the show. Of course, we know that today, the tea and coffee segment is not so much geared up for export, but one day it will be. And, we would like our exhibition to be the regions introduction to coffee and tea from Myanmar. We have discussed this with Gregory to Love of Golden Triangle Eco-Resources and we have authorized him to organize a Government of Myanmar booth which would feature various participants from your country which we would provide on a complimentary basis; the only cost would be the purchase of the standard shell scheme which is approximately US$600 per 9 sq.m. of space. The Myanmar booth could be either a 9 or 18 sq.m. booth depending on your requirements and the booth location would be assigned by the organizers. The idea of the booth will be to promote Govt. and Private Sector producers of Myanmar teas and coffees to the world market. We have asked Mr. Love to be our liaison with you in making the necessary arrangements and in choosing the participants. Mr. Love will also be a speaker at our Symposium and will be talking about Myanmar coffee. We will also be featuring Myanmar coffee as part of our tasting and cupping workshops. We would be appreciative if you could give a response by the end of March if you would like to do this as space arrangements must be made, and the furniture and electrical arrangements organized and paid for. Mr. Love will be able to explain more about this when you meet with him.
