Teaching Philosophy I believe every student can learn and be successful.

Its essential to provide the students with a safe, friendly and hands-on environment for all types of students to learn. I am committed to developing science lessons that are engaging, informative and student-centered by using real-life, everyday experiences and lab activities. I believe science is more than just memorizing facts and equation. I will use The Next Generation Science Standards as an important tool to help plan my lessons and place emphasis not only on the content but also on the science and engineering practices. It is my goal as a teacher to engage students in asking questions and developing models/explanations from evidence about how the world around us works.
