Mark Calles Senior Project April 11, 2014 Most memorable past Throughout my high school years, I have

experienced many memorable moments and one of my most favorite was going to the boys state regional soccer game in Downy, California. That day I can truly say I will never forget. I am a big time soccer player Although, I will admit I was a bit bummed out when I knew the soccer team was going to state playoffs because I didnt get moved up from junior varsity to Varsity. The reason being was because I played basketball my freshman year just to give it a try and affected me my sophomore year. Why is this my most memorable past? It was the first time Lindsay boys soccer has ever gone that far. They set history! Another reason why it was a memorable past was because many of my friends/ brothers played that year. My friends were Josue Betancourt, Oscar Manchaca, Octavio Loza, and Jonathon Gutierrez. Supporting them and being there for them was the best. It felt so good being on the Lindsay side during the game cheering on my school, town, and friends. I even sacrificed myself to wake up early to go to the game. It was a 4 and a half hour drive. Subsequently, after the game ended after a tough lost which was 2-1. It was heart breaking for all the fans and team. However, I can truly say they played there heart out there

and gave everything they had. The played with great intensity and with a lot of Lindsay passion. Going all the way to Downy, California was and will always be the most memorable past in Lindsay High school history.
