I have known Ashley Jankowiak as a student in the Early Childhood Development program at Oakland Community College. She was my student in ECD241.6 and ECD141.4 during the 2013 academic year. I found Ms. Jankowiak to be an attentive and dedicated student. She welcomed the complex challenges presented in the coursework, and took the initiative to engage in thoughtful discussion during class. She appeared extremely hard-working and insightful; these two traits combine to produce an especially unique and outstanding student. Ms. Jankowiaks academic ability is admirable. She was always an active participant in classes who listened eagerly and never hesitated to raise questions. Because of her quiet perseverance, I am confident that Ms. Jankowiak will remain in the top of her class and continue to display excellent academic performance.
