AGENDA: INTRO: (2-3 mins) Introduce the rules, drills and objectives for dribbling. FOCUS: (20:00) Students will be paired with a partner to complete various dribbling drills: -Dribble with right hand to halfcourt -Dribble with left hand to halfcourt - Dribble in-and-out of cones GAME: Students will play relays by dribbling the ball as fast as they can from one cone to another cone. At the end of the game the first group to win from both side will compete against each other for first place. CLOSING: (2-3 mins) Review the key elements and components of dribbling OBJECTIVES: Psychomotor: Students will develop correct technique of dribbling through practice because of its automaticity influence of movement and correct relation of locomotion skills during drills. Cognitive: Through presentation and demonstration students will learn the importance of proper and controlled dribbling and how it can be applied to game-like events through completion of various activities Affective: Students will acquire patience and team bonding strategies by fully participating in all class activities.
