DON'T BE AFRAID by Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji A person who has realized Brahma (and remember, He cannot be attained through

words or with the mind) as the embodiment of bliss fears nothing in this universe. One of the major enemies of human beings is fear. Due to fear much human capacity is wasted and the development of the human personality is retarded. And yet it is not difficult to overcome fear; one has to simply take the best way, it is the only way. (READ MORE)

Viveka (conscience) is a special kind of deliberation. Deliberation (vicra) is the endeavour to select a particular idea from several ideas. If a particular person is presented to you as a criminal, then there are two opposing ideas before you: the guilt of the man or his innocence. The process whereby one comes to a conclusion after deliberating upon these two opposing ideas is called vicra. When you finally make your decision it is called siddhnta (conclusion). DURGAM PARVATE UTTUNGA SHIKHARE

DURDINE VIPADE SUDINE SAMPADE

O Lord, by relying on You, my boat floats on. My days pass by taking Your name, remembering You time and again. You are the polestar in the dark night; You never allow me to deviate. Even in rain, cloud, and storm, I look for You only. Rugged mountains and high peaks, I cross by Your strength. Keeping You in my heart, worshipping You, I do not fear in speaking boldly. In the misery of bad days, in the fulfillment of good days, You surround me always.

Irish Soda Bread

Monthly Recipe by Bhaeravii

Traditionally, soda breads were baked over banked peat fires in a suspended cast-iron pot, on a bakestone or griddle, or in clay ovens. Now baked in modern conventional ovens, soda breads are still a beloved staple. They have a thick, rather chunky-crisp crust, that when bitten into reveals a moist-textured interior. Use the following techniques for perfect results: Quickly mix the dry ingredients and when stirring in the cold liquid, a quick hand is again needed, so the air is not forced out of the dough. This is especially important as the bread does not contain eggs to help with the leavening. Measure the liquids carefully to make a soft, pliable dough that is gently kneaded just until the dough holds together. Too much liquid makes a heavy bread that is hard to shape. With this, serve my favorite mellow goat cheese spread, its flavor tempered with a mild cream cheese. Soda bread makes great toast day old. (READ THE FULL RECIPE)

An Ideal Life
What a tiny flower can leave behind? Houses and Monuments? Power and Wealth? Shedding a tear of dew in the morning spring. Warming the heart of a soul who is in love forever. Waiting the end of the day to rest in peace. Carrying the weight of a bee entranced in its colors. And finally shed its petals for the earth to grow.
