Moving hands and fingers using correct writing apparatus. b. Copy and write words or simple sentences in neat and legible. c. Punctuate full stop and capital letters correctly. Cross-curricular elements: Verbal linguistic and kinesthetic. Teaching aids : LCD projector, desktop, I Love My Family song, PowerPoint slides of A Magic Map story, word cards, whiteboard, marker pen, coloured pencils and activity books. Steps: Set Induction 1. Teacher asks pupils to sing I Love My Family song with actions.

Activities 1. Teacher says aloud the words (father/ mother/ brother/ sister/family).Teacher picks pupils randomly to pick the correct word cards according to words said and show them to the class. Get the pupils to spell the words shown. Pupils listen and write the words in the space given. (AB, page 39) 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Demonstrate the first sentence to the pupils to show how to solve the puzzle. Remind pupils that a sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with a full stop. (AB, page 40) Get the pupils to write the given words in the grid at random. Say out the words randomly. Pupils cross out each word that they hear. If they have crossed all the words in a row, they will shout BINGO. Look at the pictures and find the correct words. Pupils circle the correct words in the puzzle.(AB, page 41) Pupils look at the pictures. Pupils read the incomplete sentences and write the correct words in the space given. (AB, page 42) Pupils look at the pictures. Pupils read the sentences and match them with the correct pictures. Then, write the sentences accordingly in the space given. (AB, page 43) Teacher draws a picture of a family. Pupils draw and colour a picture of his/her family.
