Task: Students will be assessed on their ability to research and source evidence from a range of resources made available to them. With these resources, they are to research their assigned condition/disease in detail. The rubric below provides evidence that assessment and learning progress is being made with the class. This is useful for mapping individual student progress and to demonstrate where and how judgments for grades have come from.

Satisfactory Provided some risks and/or causes for assigned condition/disease in brief detail. Presented 2-3 signs or symptoms for assigned condition/disease in some detail. Provides some evidence of treatment and prevention for assigned condition/disease (OR) provides a brief explanation as to lack of treatment/cure.

Accomplished Provides detailed information regarding the risks and causes of the assigned condition/disease. Presented 4+ signs and/or symptoms for assigned condition/disease in explicit detail. Provides evidence of treatment and prevention for assigned condition/disease (OR) Provides a detailed explanation as to the lack of treatment/cure; focusing more on prevention.
