Observation Checklist
Observation Checklist
It allows teachers to briefly observe the contribution of each student in a group environment. This includes discussion, group assignments, and brainstorming. The observation checklist aims to provide the teacher with an idea as to how the student cooperates within a social environment (relating directly to the lessons social constructivist background). The checklist provides a Yes or No checking box which, through observation, can be marked according to student performance and contribution with their workload. Additionally there is room for the teacher to provide brief comments to justify the judgment made on the student, and possibly to elaborate their overall observation of the student to a further extent.
YES Positively contributes to the group in terms of discussion and work distribution. Takes responsibility for areas of work (i.e. Research, Typing). Cooperates effectively with all other class members.
