As a current student in the Food Science Major at BYU, I look forward to finding experiences to help me along my way to graduation and a strong steady career. In my resume is enclosed my education, job experience, and background. I feel that this job/career would get a great fit for me because I love food. This is a main reason that I have decided to study the major of food science. Trying and making new foods would be a dream come true for me. Every job that I have had since I have started working when I was sixteen has had some connection with the food industry and some way. While studying NDFS at BYU I have had the opportunity to be in labs that allowed me to work with foods and their chemical properties. These scenarios have been helpful in exposing me to laboratory procedures and experience for what I can expect in the work place.

Graduated number 45 in a class of 700 students with an overall GPA of 3.95. While I was in school I also received a varsity letter all 4 years for the sport of ice hockey.

Brigham Young University

August 2010- Present

Continuing student at BYU studying Food Science and will minor in chemistry. I am a full-time student will a current GPA of 3.35 with 52 credit hours completed.

Work Experience
Jimmy Johns Gourmet Subs PIC (Person in Charge)
Was responsible to manage and run the store with the GM and Assistant GM were not in the store. Managed and oversaw multiple employees and dealt with business costumers on a daily basis. Trained/mentored new employees on to properly do their jobs, and to be successful in the work place.

J Dawgs
Responsible for interacting with costumers, taking their orders, and running the cash register. Maintained and demonstrated proper food handling procedures and made orders for the costumers.

Volunteer Experience
Kids on the Move
Assisted in interacting and watching younger children between the ages of 3-8 years old. Providing a safe environment and supervision for parents to leave their children with.
