EC Week 30 UISG EC Division

Whats been happening? Just before the break, the children had an opportunity to visit the canteen garden. Ms. Eva and the gardener (ah yee) welcomed us. They showed us some of the vegetables grown there and answered interesting student questions like How tall will they grow? What kind of vegetables are growing there? and Where did they get the seeds from?.We even saw how the unwanted foods were used for composting. We decided to let go of the frogs and the snails so they can explore the playground and maybe find a bigger home to live in. We were fortunate to have a visit from Red, our school adopted dog which was found at our school early in the school year is now part of our school community. The K2 friends were excited to meet Red and inquiries were generated by thechildren.
