AVA4: Week 1: - Before ground brakes, you should see some flowers trembling - Camera turning when the

main character lies on his back on the hill (is more d ynamic) - When the golem scratches his head, the camera is a bit weird. This needs to be fixed - Walking downhill and walking to the hill is too fast at this point - Camera when picking flower is focused on the wrong flower - Falling shot = too much. He could fall off the hill and then try to crawl back or hang on to something - Skipping when walking to the hill, that will set the pace for the rest of the movie - 3 Different layers for different speeds in landscapes - Textures are creative and good - Mental ray is good for this type of art Week 2: - Cameras are static, fix this - Production schedule should be finished ASAP - Production schedule should show WHAT needs doing, and WHEN it's supposed to be finished - Use references for your work Week 3: - Fractures > do them in Houdini if it works, if not, have a backup plan and cre ate them in Maya - Terrain should be finished ASAP - New teamlead as of today: Sandra Week 8 presentations at the end of production phase: - Martin: he thinks it looks beautiful, but not yet finished we are way behind if it's finished it would be a nice portfolio piece it's a nice experimental project - Kim: overall feeling is nice, but the ending needs fixing no wind dynamics at this moment, which makes it a bit st atic get it all up to the same level of quality before AVA5 it's a bit cluttered, some shots can be left out first shot is the best shot, but give the backdrop a bit of depth > for example clouds that move - Ronny: skip some shots perhaps for AVA5 this presentation would not pass it looks beautiful, though only for the finished shots use different heights for the trees > better composition
