Alejandra Soto CD- 259 Introduction of Self

When I graduated High School I began College the same year. As I started college I did not know what I wanted to be. I knew I wanted a career but I was unsure. I had no career in mind. I began working at a day care center in a summer program and as I kept working I really enjoyed working with children. I made up my mind and decided to major in Early Childhood Education. I worked in the center for about three years and continued going to school. I am happy with the choice I made and I am excited to soon be graduating and returning back to work. I am going to receive my Associates Degree in Early Childhood; my goal is to attend National Louis University. I think about it and I feel it might be a bit hard to continue school since I have a 17 month old daughter but I want to continue school so my family and I can have a great future. I would also love to have my own day care center once I am ready.
