Connecting to the eduroam network on Android using TTLS

Before you begin
We offer this manual to you as an extra service. This manual is based on Android 2.1 on a HTC mobile device and has been tested to be working. However it is not supported by SSC-ICT nor by the TU Delft Servicepoints The TTLS method works on most devices and is recommended. You may also use PEAP, but that may not work properly on some android devices. 1. Go to the Settings menu ( Menu button > Settings or All programs > Settings). Tap Wireless & networks. 2. Tap Wi-Fi settings. Scroll down in the list. At the bottom, tap Add Wi-Fi network

3. Enter the network SSID: eduroam. Select 802.1x Enterprise for the Security.

4. You may be prompted to choose a password to secure the credential storage. You can choose this password yourself. Enter it twice.

5. Set the EAP method to TTLS. Set the Phase 2 authentication to PAP

6. Enter the identity: your TU Delft netID suffixed by @ tudelft.nl (this is not your email address)! Enter the anonymous identity: anonymous@tudelft.nl Enter your netID password. Click Save. You should now be able to use the connection when youre in range.
