Thesis Statement: Electronic devices have had a great affect on child development and child interaction by decreasing their interaction with other children and adults; also how they affect a childs development. Introduction: I chose this topic because I have two younger cousins, one being 11 and the other being 8, both of them have the IPad and the IPand mini along with many video games and Gameboys. By those two have all of those electronic devices I have started to see a change in how they interact with other people at family gatherings, they typically do not speak or even acknowledge us. Therefore I found great interest in this topic and decided it would be useful. Prior Knowledge: General Questions: (8-10) 1. What kind of electronic devices affect children behavior and interaction? 2. Other than children behavior and interaction what other negative affects do electronic devices have on children? 3. In what ways do electronic devices affect a childs behavior? 4. In what ways do electronic devices affect a childs interaction with other people? 5. How can we help improve these negative affects? 6. Do parents play a roll in not limiting children to electronic devices? 7. What age is it appropriate for children to be introduced to electronic devices? 8.
