Hi my name is Belinda Qather, I live in Ohio, go Buckeyes!

I am an Ashford University Graduate with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Bachelors degree in Child Development specializing in Early Childhood Education. I will be attending The University of the Rockies for my Masters programs in General Psychology with a teaching degree in May, 2014, and I will work towards my PhD in Child and Family Psychology. I will use that experience to open a clinic for children who have attachment disorders, anti-social personality disorders, autism spectrum disorder, unspecified attachment and bonding disorders, and children who have been victims of abuse and neglect. Though the use of Animal Assisted Therapy (primarily Equine therapy), introducing children to miniature horses to foster bonding, and gradually stepping them up to riding ponies, with the parent partnership, to facilitate parent/caregiver attachments. Also the use of Aqua therapy to help children with bonding issues, utilizing their natural survival instincts in a parent/caregiver based assistance program where the parent/caregiver is partnered with the child throughout equine, and water therapies.
