Apply critical thinking to inform and communicate professional judgments.

Practice Behavior 3.1

Distinguish, appraise, and integrate multiple sources of knowledge, including research-based knowledge, and practice wisdom.
I will turn toward other sources of knowledge that are legitimate and beneficial toward my profession. Scholarly articles, peer-reviewed articles, and others who have been in the social work field and gained experience.

Practice Behavior 3.2

Analyze models of assessment, prevention, intervention, and evaluation Example: There are many different models that allow social workers to practice in a way that is most beneficial for their clients. I will review and understand each one so that I may benefit my clients the best way possible as a social worker.

Practice Behavior 3.3

Demonstrate effective oral and written communication in working with individuals, families, groups, organizations, communities, and colleagues.
Example: I will be clear, concise, and professional when I am interacting with anyone in my field. Competent and clear communication are vital to presenting yourself as a professional.
