This is to inform you that the newly introduced roster system should be implemented as per the university rules. To the best of our knowledge the fifth (5th) post in the department of economics belongs to SC category. In the interest of college (and to avoid litigation), it is requested that the roster should be implemented as per the university rules/norms: 1. In light of this, I write to request you to seek clarification from the university to process the appointment(s) against the category so that there will be no academic loss to the students. 2. As per the roster, third, fifth and sixth posts belong to the UR, SC, and UR categories respectively. Therefore, I request you to seek clarification from the university regarding the process the appointment(s) against these categories as soon as possible so that there will be no academic loss to the students.

1. We will not seek in writing appointment(s) on guest basis. 2. The ASC resolution signed by the principal cannot be hold for the following reasons: i) An OBC candidate, of course, can be appointed in the general category, but she/he shall to compete for in that category. What if somebody files RTI seeking information regarding the number and name(s) of the candidates appeared in the general category during interview. Verbal pressure and incomplete ASC minutes can not compel us (the department of economics) to do anything. We shall follow the due process only or otherwise principal/ASC/ staff association shall give in writing some candidate of certain category in order to bypass the certain procedures of appointment(s).
