This letter is in response to your request to answer your students question: What impact did the Project have and how do you know? We do not know what impact the Project has had when it comes to those individuals you sent packages to. We are just the individuals who put you in contact with the people who need you most. However, it has been very uplifting to us knowing that whenever we speak to, read, or receive information that one of our fellow comrade at arms needs help, YOU, Ms. Montes and the Students of Operation Uplifting are there for us to call on. We volunteer to help veterans in many different ways. Many times we are saddened knowing that there are very few people who recognize how valuable our veterans are and the sacrifices they have made. We Salute you Ms. Montes and the Students of Operation Uplifting for supporting our troops and for being true patriots. My God bless you and may your message reach all those who are in need of your uplifting. Thank You. Respectfully, Maria J.
