Activity for today: Making a floating house!


Aim: Build a floating house that can hold the greatest number of marbles. Your budget is 5 units Each of the following things costs 1 unit: 1 X cup (foam or plastic) OR 1 X balloon OR 1 X cardboard OR 1 X brown paper back 4 X straws OR 4 X paddle pop sticks OR 4 X rubber bands 30cm sticky tape OR 30cm cling wrap OR 30cm aluminium foil

Would you live in this house? What materials did you use? What worked well? What didnt?
