Williams Reflective essay 1

Transferring into Johnson C Smith, I really thought the Sports Management program was not the best, I lacked off in multiple classes, but especially this specific class, because I have already completed these courses at my previous college. In the beginning of this semester I slacked, I did not fully have my priorities in order, especially with my internship, it was hard managing to drive 45 minutes away every other day, have time for all my other class work and manage to be efficient in basketball practice. After a while I begin to take my situation a little more serious, and I was trying to be the best at what I was doing, no matter if it was my class work. Internship, or in practice. When I made that final decision, my tasks started to become easy, and I started to become more efficient in what I was doing. By remaining in this class, it taught me the correct way to write a cover letter, resume, and letter for employment. Only being here a year I have not had the chance to experience the professors in the sport management department, besides two of the professors. Just by knowing them two, they received me a lot of opportunities that was shifted my way. Next year I hope to connect more with the

professors in the sport management department, so they can teach, and help prep me for the life after college, and help me have opportunities available after graduation.
