EXPERIMENT-4

Aim:- To create a model for a wine glass. Tools used:- MAYA 7.0.1

Step 1: Select ep curves from curves in modeling.

Step 2 : Revolve the Glass using revolve option from surfaces menu and then texturizing it using 3d paint tool.

Step 3 : Rendering is done using blinn type and by increasing the transparency.

Step 4: Once the entire wine glass has been colored, wine glass is viewed using Render view present in rendering option.

EXPERIMENT-5

Aim:- To create a model for a bouncing ball. Tools used:- MAYA 7.0.1

Step 1: Create a sphere using polygon primitive option in modeling mode.

Step 2: Now render the ball using rendering mode. (Choose texturing and then use 3-D paint tool).

Step 3 : Select the Front View and Animate the ball using set key option in Animate Menu.

Step 4 : After setting the key select the time frame and translate the ball along y axis for different time frames.

Step 5 : After setting the positions of ball for different time frames ,we play the animation Bouncing ball frames: Time Frame 1:

EXPERIMENT-6

Aim:- To create a model for a bouncing ball moving in a helical path . Tools used:- MAYA 7.0.1

Step 1: Create a sphere using polygon primitive option in modeling mode.

Step 2: Now render the ball using rendering mode. (Choose texturing and then use 3-D paint tool).

Step 3: Select the front view and then move the ball in helical path by setting keys in different time frames as shown here:

Step 4: choose different positions for the ball at different time frames.

EXPERIMENT-7
Aim : To rotate a ball in circular path wrt to another still ball at the centre of moving balls trajectory. Tools used:- MAYA 7.0.1

Step 1: Create a circle using polygon primitive option in modeling mode.

Step 2: Create 2 spheres present at the centre and the circumference of the circle using polygon primitive option in modeling mode. (Set required radius).

Step 3: Render the entire figure using rendering mode. (Choose texturing and then use 3-D paint tool).

Step 4: Different views of the figure are given .

Step 5: Now set the desired color of the balls using rendering tools.

Step 6: Now select the front view of the ball.

Also go to animation option, select the ball and choose different positions for the ball at different time frames using Set Key option from animate menu bar.
