international affairs, specifically those in relation to economies. * why you wish to use this topic/subject, I am a double major in Economics and German, so this topic not only interests me but also pertains to what I hope to be doing with my future career. * including why you find it interesting enough to use a focus for your research Economics is something that has always interested me, and it is something that I genuinely enjoy researching. It is also a relatively large subject area, which will give me a lot of information to choose from. * tell me what you (think) you already know of this subject/topic Generally I already know a lot when it comes to German and American Economic policies. * why do you expect youll find research sources on your subject/topic Economics is a very big and important topic that there is plenty of research on. I read The Economist pretty regularly, and even from that there is enough information for a research paper. * why should your idea be worthy of approving I think my topic is very interesting and also relates back to the topic of power which the class previously studied. * explain what you hope to gain from researching this topic/subject I hope to gain a little more knowledge and insight into how nations across the world deal with the economy, and specifically how they deal with other nations economies. * what is your back-up plan and why it is suitable as such My back up plan is to study Academia in the United States. This is a suitable back up plan because I have experience of education outside of the United States, and can compare how it is to European countries.
