Curriculum Content: Approaches to learning Making and expressing choices, plans, and decisions Beginning During choice time the kids will be making decisions on which toys to play with
Middle: The children will make a decision over and over on which toy they would like to play with
Extensions: Simple ask the children what they would like to play with during choice time Harder let the children make their own choices and come to tell you about them End When choice time is beginning to end call out a 5 minute warning so that the children kn ow its almost over then once it is over sing the clean-up song and clean up the toys at the same time.
Follow-up Ideas: Give the children choices as much as possible Ask open ended questions that help the child make decisions.
