FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Museum Theater Series gives Historical Glimpse of Tubman Slaves AUGUSTA, Ga.

Experience a glimpse into the lives of William Tubman, longest serving Liberian president, and local Tubman slaves through compelling monologues in this historical performance of The Other Tubmans, Saturday, July 20th, at the Augusta Museum of History. Voices of the Past presents, The Other Tubmans, in which actors bring the stories of extraordinary people to life through a series of character monologues. This story explains the depth and connection between the local Tubman slaves, freed in the 1830s, and William Tubman, Liberian president from 1944-1971. The show is free and included with museum admission. The performance takes place in the museums theater downtown at 560 Reynolds Street on Saturday, July 20th. Seating is limited, so plan accordingly. Show times are at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. Dont miss out on this entertaining and educational performance.
