Classroom Management Institute (Proactive and Positive Strategies for Success) Three-Day Summer Institute

Sessions will include the following topics: Developing an effective Classroom Management Plan Utilizing effective encouragement and correction procedures Intervening to address chronic misbehavior Implementing School-wide Positive Behavior Support Connecting Marzanos research-based best practices Activities will include the following: Whole Group Independent Pair-Share and Cooperative Groups Role Play and Modeling Make and Take Participants will receive: One of the following textbooks o CHAMPS - A Proactive and Positive Approach to Classroom Management o Discipline in the Secondary Classroom Classroom resources, tools, and assessments A Certificate of Completion and 36 inservice points after reflection sheet is completed and submitted Registration for the Classroom Management Institute is on the Classroom Management TrainU site: http://trainu.palmbeach.k12.fl.us/course/view.php?id=139
