Dylan Ramsey Professor Raymond ENGL 1102 April 2, 2014 From the Mountains to the Seas For the semester long project I am doing it on the small town of Burnsville. Burnsville has an interesting history behind how it received its name, and modern day Burnsville has changed a lot through the years with the biggest change being how the tourism industry is today. I have found two article by using my research techniques I learned through using the Curious Researcher and I plan on incorporatin semester long project. I plan on incorporating them by paraphrase t point slides and using some of the quotes when I am discussin presentation. The first one is from a book called Pirates, Priv te rs, and Rebel Raiders of the Carolina Coast, this book was a good source for me to I arn more about the man Otway Burns. called On a Clear Day: Climbing Mount Mitchell. In this article the author travels to Burnsville and discusses his travel to the top of Mount Mitchell, and how the view is ~ nothing short of Breathtaking, and it will make you feel small in a hurry (Crossman).
