An embedded system is a special-purpose computer system designed to perform one or a few dedicated functions.

It is usually a complete device including hardware and mechanical parts. It is different from a general-purpose computer, such as a personal computer, which can do many different tasks depending on programming but the embedded system is dedicated to specific tasks.

MICROCONTROLLERS

A microcontroller is a small computer on a single integrated circuit consisting of a relatively simple CPU combined with some support functions. Program memory in the form of flash memory or ROM is often included on chip, as well as a, typically small, read/write memory.

Microcontrollers are used in automatically controlled products and devices, such as automobile engine control systems, remote controls, office machines, appliances, power tools, and toys.

In first step we will design power supply and An ISP (IN SYSTEM PROGRAMMING )module. The primary advantage of this circuit is that it we need not a special programming circuit . We can program as well as use microcontroller on the same circuit.

This is designed to provide constant 5V DC supply to microcontroller as well as to LCD. IT INCLUDES: A step down transformer. Diodes(in4007) filter capacitor Regulator(7805)

However our robot is Wireless but for testing of our ISP Module and other circuits we have designed a power supply module and after completion we will replace this power supply with a DC battery.
