Hello Parents! At this time of the year I will be working in Ms. Sorensons classroom, doing the rolls and tasks of a student teacher. To introduce myself, Id like to say that my name is Jordyn Tiedemann! I am a senior at Indianola High School; I am currently taking a DMACC class at the Southridge Campus in Des Moines, called the Teaching Academy. Being in the classroom with these students has been an amazing experience, and I absolutely love the atmosphere Ms. Sorensen gives them. With that being said along with telling you who I am, I wanted to tell you a little bit about myself. Along with being a senior at IHS, I also participate on the girls swim team. Ive done for all four years, and also managed the boys swim team this year. I am a very outgoing and talkative person, so getting to know your child has been so much fun for me! During this field experience I hope to see improvement within the class in whatever task Ms. Sorensen has for me! I want your children comfortable around me, and being able to come to me like they do with Ms. Sorensen. It has been great having them all yell my name as I walk into that class! I am looking forward to working with your child, they are all so very sweet, and I already feel more than welcomed in this class!
