current technology that is available for planning and meetings. Audience Faculty of the high school/ 9th grade academy Needs The two parts of the high school are not located on the same campus, which cause time constraints and relocation for meeting and collaborative planning. Goal Demonstrate how Lync, Google Drive, and Audacity can be used to maximize time and convenience for virtual meetings and collaborative planning. Presentation Using various web 2.0 tools key features of each program will be introduced to the faculty. They will see a brief presentation, as well as, do some hands on practice with Lync and Google drive. Lync Call from computer Instant messaging Conference calls

Google Drive Document Sharing using the various tools Collaborative work Minimize emailing back and forth

Audacity Audio recordings for those absent at meetings Embedding audio into presentations Presentations w/ audio helpful for independent viewing when meeting as group not possible

Pre/Post Faculty will be given a brief survey on their knowledge of the features of Lync, Google Drive, and Audacity. Afterwards through Q and A or survey discuss the benefits of the professional development.
