Why is travelling so sought after? o It opens up someones ideas about culture and help for people to understand history. o Widens the view that some people have regarding culture. o Travel is interesting and is always a good way to get away from the stress in everyday life. o Can travel be not beneficial? How can travel be a way to avoid commitment? o Can the funds get in the way? Can it become an addiction? o Are the people who can afford to travel at a better advantage within the social realm? Why is it almost a requirement to have a degree to get a job? o It shows intelligence in a certain field of study. o Negative factors include that it makes the business world super competitive. o It makes the business field almost too flat in regards to having something else that makes you special. What is the difference in poverty in western cultures vs. poverty in developing countries? o Americans interpretations of poverty? o Third world interpretation of poverty? o What is commonly associated with poverty? Diseases? Livelihood? o What causes people to become impoverished? Did they grow up that way? How easy is it to break free from?
