Bachelor of Arts, English: Brigham Young University, April 2013. Minor in Math. Master of Arts, English. Brigham Young University, anticipated June 2015. Emphasis in Rhetoric and Composition.

Teaching Experience
Freshman Writing: BYU, August 2013 April 2014. Two sections total at 3 credit hours each. Intern for Technical Communication: BYU, January 2014 April 2014. Observed entire semester with team teacher and taught occasionally. Graded half of assignments turned in. Language Instructor (Tagalog/Filipino): LDS Missionary Training Center, July 2010 August 2013. Trained groups of about 8 LDS missionaries at a time, each group for 6 weeks. 100+ total missionaries trained in the basic use of the Tagalog language.

Research and Awards


Locutorium Honorable Mention: Published in in-house, online journal for FYC instructors. Paper title: Writer-Centered Research: A New Perspective on the Use of Composition Research in FYC. Style Academy Focus Group: Participated in a focus group for grammar instruction website, styleacademy.byu.edu.

Presentations
BYU English Symposium: Presented as an undergraduate in March 2011. Paper title: Perspective and Shifts in Reynolds Prices A Long and Happy Life.
