Bachelor Degree Engineering/Management

Career Opportunities
Test, diagnose, fault nd, repair and maintain gas, electrical and refrigerated appliances. Typical workplaces are small organisations specialising in the repair and maintenance of gas, electrical and refrigerated appliances. At appliance servicing mechanic level average weekly earnings are $1000, however with university articulation (3% of our students go to university) this increases to $1000 - $1500 and goes up further with experience and seniority.
Advanced Diploma of Engineering

Engineering Technician.

(NSW Higher School Certicate or equivalent)

Design and validate/evaluate equipment and systems, manage risk, estimate and manage projects and provide technical advice/sales.

Certicate III in Appliance Servicing


(Apprentice entry)

Appliance service mechanics.

Set up, service and repair electrical and refrigerated appliances. This includes restricted electrical competencies and electives covering gas appliances.

Certicate II in Appliance Servicing - Refrigerants


(Entry: employed in the Appliance Service industry)

Domestic appliance service mechanics.

Handle and use refrigerants while servicing self contained refrigeration and air conditioning appliances following prescribed routines.
