WEEKLY CONFERENCE FORM -- WEEK # 9 March(7-April 11)2014

STRENGTHS The student teacher effectively motivated student learning of the lesson on paraphrasing by utilizing a hook to grab the interest and attention of the students. The instruction in the lesson was very well balanced. The teaching of reading strategies and the skills were effectively utilized during the lesson. Most importantly, the encouragement of higher-level thinking and the use of coaching as the children were reading and writing definitely helped to increase student comprehension of the skill being taught WEAKNESSES
