What Is The Difference Between Footnotes and The Bibliography

Footnotes and bibliographies contain the same citation information but have stylistic differences. In a footnote, the author's first name comes first followed by a comma and last name. The first line is indented and publication information is in parentheses. Specific page numbers are included. Footnotes are numbered. In a bibliography, the author's last name comes first followed by a comma and first name with a period. The second line is indented with no parentheses. There are no page numbers. The bibliography is arranged alphabetically on its own page at the end of the paper with single spacing within and double spacing between entries.
