NOTES: It can be concluded: Downtown Calgary HOST Team is most effective to service tourist/visitors in Calgary looking for information on Events, Attractions and General Assistance during July and August at stationary locations. The KIOSK provides more directional assistance, along with special event and attraction concierge type services. The MOBILE team is best for CDA Outreach and supplementing services to special events and attractions 2014: Use stationary kiosks with well trained staff for information services, including transit and directional provisions and better social knowledge of things to do, and what's happening. Use a different approach to the MOBILE to be active at events and festivals as a marketing tool for the vitality of the CDA. Possibly combine the MOBILE team with the OTW team to capture 'hotspots' and problem areas as eyes and ears on the street. KIOSK should have well organized, well informed, articulate staff MOBILE should have physically able, and with physical presence, security aware and event operation trained staff. KIOSK staff could be trained in line with Visitor Information Services MOBILE staff could be trainined in line with MacCon Event/Security staff. Perhaps training partnerships with both is an opporutnity for growth and collaboration.
