Homework: Too Little or Too Much?

Some parents in America think there is too little homework, but some parents think there is too much homework. According to surveys, more parents think there is too little homework; newspapers claim that there is too much, and children are suffering. When surveys were conducted, it was proven that there had not been much change in the amount of homework given last 20-30 years. Some parents say that the amount of time of homework kids should do is 10min. for each grade level. Some schools in the same area has too much homework, some has none. Now, people do less homework than they did before, and only 1/5 of students spend time doing their homework, other students spend time playing, texting, and doing sports.
