Gross National Product (GNP)

The average number of years a person is expected to live.

GNP per capita

The number of children out of every 1000 born alive who die before their first birthday.

Birth Rate

The difference between the birth rate and the death rate. If the birth rate is the higher, then the total population will increase!

Life Expectancy

The number of people in every 1000 who die each year.

Death Rate

The total value of all the goods and services produced by a country in a year.

Infant mortality rate


Natural population growth

The number of live babies born for every 1000 people in the total population.

What each person in the country would earn if the amount was shared out equally.
