Updates on the work regarding Digital E-library project As per the decision made by E-library committee of SIMSREE purchasing

chasing of e-books for the library has been cancelled. As the budget sanctioned for the subscription of e-books low i.e. 5,28,743/-; this low amount is adjusted by reducing the storage hardware to 10TB. New domain name (website name) has been finalized as simsree.elibrary.org(or .com; as per the availability). Designing of the webpage is in progress and will be finalizing the design by 20th Oct 2013 Rearrangement of LAN is in progress. 2mbps dedicated lease line will be in place by 25th Oct 2013. Email id for all Governments Institutes has been provided to concerned person. E-library user interface given by NCCF as a trail has been examined by the college authorities and approved by the authorities. Respective comments and suggestions have been given to concern person.

Overall project will be completed and digital e-library will be made fully functional by 10th November, 2013
