Intro Notes

Get them hooked, ask a question, interesting fact Narrative intro: Open with a story that connects with you Interrogative Intro: invites the reader into the conversation by asking one or more questions Minding the Gap Intro: a writer calls the readers attention to a gap in the research on an issue an then uses the rest of the essay to fill in the gap. Possible story for intro: I remember being caught daydreaming in class in elementary school. But I never realized that I was doing it, even after my focus came back. I would be sitting in my desk paying attention; at least I thought I was, then all of the sudden my teacher would next to me tapping me on the shoulder telling me to pay attention. Every one has or knows someone who goes on a tangent about of the cant focus at certain due to ADD or they say, I am so ADD. When in reality they dont have ADD, they just cant keep their focus. My research fills the gap of who actually does have add and isnt just saying it as an excuse.
