Jose Abelardo Quionez Gonzalez was a Peruvian military aviator and national aviation hero, he born in April 22 of 1914 and sacrificed his life in July 23 of 1941 Quiones was a fighter pilot in the 41st Escuadrilla (Flight) of the Peruvian Air Force, which participated in a bombing raid at Quebrada Seca on July 23, 1941 (battle of Zarumilla).
