Typical food of Peru

Today we want to talk about Peru, a country located in South America. Peru has a very rich culture in food acquired from generation to generation by the Incas. In this occasion we show you two different dishes of typical food of Peru, these dishes can be prepared or served for dinner or lunch. The first dish comprises as starter ceviche, ceviche is prepared with fish, onion and lemon; and can be accompanied with pisco sour (the origin of this drink is still unclear because Chile and Peru dispute it, but this is another history). Like principal dish Papa a la huancaina prepared in base of potatoes and sauce of cheese yellow chili, this dish is typical of Lima, the capital of Peru. After that as dessert arroz zambaito, is like a milk pudding but they add molasses. The second dish comprises as starter ensalada de escaveche, a salad prepared with tuna, tomatoes and onion accompanied with a drink called chicha de jora obtained from the fermentation of corn. Like principal dish aji de gallina, prepared with chicken, rice and sauce of yellow chili. After that as dessert suspiro limeo, prepared with blancmange and meringue with a touch of cinnamon. The typical food of Peru is very healthy because they use essential ingredients for our body like milk, vegetables and fruits, for this reason it is advisable to try it!
