The intellectual market today has become more competitive than any time before.

That is why this senior portfolio makes more sense now than it ever has before, although to be frank my main motivation for creating it is to be able to graduate high school and pursue a career path after attending college. I hope that this clearly shows the fact that i have always been and will continue to be a diligent student. Throughout my high school career I have always excelled in all academic areas, having never gotten below a B in a single class. I have been working for months saving money for college, as to not waste my ability or my efforts in high school. Without both Vaca igh and B!" # it would have been impossible for me to excel as i have in my classes. owever, it was not until my $unior year that i was sure i wanted to become an engineer. %espite taking the advanced placement class in two separate schools over my $unior year, with the help of "r. "orton and "rs. &ausch I passed the '( exam with a ) out of * and discovered a passion that i expect will follow me for the rest of my life. +ot many other kids i went to class with continued to study physics in their free time beyond the classroom , not for credit, but merely for knowledge as i have. These achievements in both my personal life and my academic life are what motivate me to pursue an education beyond what is re,uired by law. I plan to attend #olano !ommunity college for - years before transferring to .! #an %iego to complete my bachelors of mechanical engineering. To make this happen, I will need money, and motivation. "otivation is the easy part, being that i love the sub$ect i plan to study, and the fact that i find great $oy in gaining further education. owever, the money aspect is a little harder to fulfill. I am currently working at my local In/n/out burger, and saving more than half of every paycheck into a college fund. This, in combination with the generosity of my family and student loans, I will be able to make
