E-1. The means in Parts 1 and 2 were very similar to the sample means of part 3. The means in Parts 1
and 2 were 2.55 for part 1, and 2.375 for part 2. Similarly, part three had a combined mean of all 200
spins at 2.576592.
E-2. The standard deviations in parts 1 and 2 are not relatively close together. Part 1 had a standard
deviation of 2.64, and part 2 had a standard deviation of 1.46888. Part two was more similar to part
three which had an average standard deviation of 1.642939.
E-3. The standard deviation of the sample means in part 3 was 0.305533, and the theoretical standard
deviation of the sample means was 0.214462.
E-4. The histograms in parts 1 and 2 were very similar in the way that they were both skewed to the left.
They were very different from the normal bell-shaped curve. The histogram in part three is less like
parts one and two, but more like the bell and has a very normal distribution containing a rise and fall.
