Special event management an event marketing : A case study THE IMPACT OF CULTURAL EVENTS ON TOURISM DEVELOPMENT: SIBIU - THE

EUROPEAN CULTURAL CAPITAL The reason I choose this journal because the study based on tourism development in contrast with event management system. Moreover, this journal shows the impact of the event can be gauged through the growth in tourism. Apart from that, this journal also shows enormous result on event management of ECOC towards a country based on tourism development. This Journal covers the full scope from event management on the effect, impact and growth of tourism. One of the targets of this journal is to show the enormous performance of ECOC has turned into a model followed by many European cities seeking tourism growth and image change. This implies a considerable scope of this new journal, which can range development model, including tourism growth, changes in tourist profile, image improvement and increased social cohesion. Thus, it has three major points that I learned from this journal. Where the first point is political stability and commitment are vital to the success of the programmed. Where by local authorities role are important to lead a success development. Secondly, the importance of creating internal and external networks. It shows that networks is essentially a support group. And lastly, the major points that I learned from this journal is where there are short term and long term effect on creating an event management system. Therefore, by combining all these three major point will improve and develop a good economic value for a country cause of the effects.
