Peter Cosgrove CEO, ATA Group Will talk about his business experience at the MBN Annual Lunch

Peter Cosgrove is CEO of ATA Group, the worlds largest manufacturer of carbide deburring tools, headquartered in Cavan. Peter and other investors acquired ATA in 2008 and, both organically and by acquisition, the companys sales have since grown threefold while acquiring companies in Cleveland, Ohio and Leicester. ATA has customers in 67 countries whose key end use sectors are in Aerospace, Marine, Oil & Gas, Automotive and Steel Fabrication. Peters background includes 16 years with Jefferson Smurfit Group, the last four years of which as CEO of Smurfits US wholly owned subsidiaries, a $250m enterprise. He was Michael Smurfits personal assistant from 1995 through 1998. Following Smurfit, Peter joined the UK Plc De La Rue, as Divisional Managing Director, based in Basingstoke, Hampshire running a 200m business with operations in Ireland, the UK, the US, Sweden, Kenya, South Africa and Hong Kong. Peter is a past pupil of St Marys College (1981) and a graduate of UCD. He has five children ranging in ages from 12 through 22. Tickets 25 per person, 3 course lunch and wine.
