March 2, 2014 Dear Parents, My name is Sachiko, and I will be student teaching in Ms.

Easons classroom through the end of April. I will graduate from Judson College in May with a certification in Elementary Education. In addition to my academic activities, I also hold the position of vice president in my colleges chapter of Kappa Delta Epsilon, an educational fraternity, which focuses on professional development. I am very excited to student teach in your childs classroom this semester! Throughout my time at Judson College, I have encountered a wide variety of experiences that have helped me to prepare for this classroom setting. I have taught a full-curriculum preschool program, first grade, second grade, two third grade classrooms, and special education. I recently completed nearly eight weeks of my student internship teaching fifth grade at Brocks Gap Intermediate School. The journey so far has been extensive but it has been worthwhile in preparing me to help engage and lead the most enriching learning environment possible. Each classroom contains unique students with different learning styles, and I look forward to being a steppingstone in their lifelong pursuit of learning. I have enjoyed each experience along the way and am very much looking forward to getting to know and learn from your child!

Sincerely,
Ms. Green
