Poetry Anthology Reflection One important thing that I learned as a result of this assignment is how to examine a poems and

how to combine poems from various authors that all had to deal with the same subject. By doing this assignment, it made me appreciate poems and notices how much fun and creative then can be. The work and the thought that went into this assignment will help me as a teacher, because I will have my own personal collection of great poems that I can always have in my classroom and be able to share them with my students. I can connect this assignment to the resources for childrens literature, because both of these assignments were collections of good material that I can use at another time. One question that I have related to this assignment is, by having my students do a similar assignment, will it be just as beneficial to them?
