3 (Strand A): Identify some alphabet letters

Objectives: SWBAT recognize the letters on the dice and match them with the letter on the chart. Procedure: The lesson will be done in small group. Each student will take a turn rolling the dice. The dice will have letters on it, not numbers. When the letter is rolled, the student will tell the others in the group what letter was rolled and everyone will put a paint dot in that letters column. This will continue until everyone has had three to five turns, depending on how the time is going. Assessment: I will be able to assess the students understanding by observing them doing the activity.
