Students are assigned to fourmember learning teams that are mixed in performance level, gender, and ethnicity. The teacher presents a lesson, and then students work within their teams to make sure that all team members have mastered the lesson. Finally, all students take individual quizzes on the material, at which time they may not help one another.

How does assessment take place (both formative and summative)?


Quiz students worked independently. It aims to show what students have acquired while studying in groups. Quiz results used as the value of individual development and donated the value of group development.

What is used to motivate the student?
